Full Job Description

Account Manager

Futura is seeking an experienced, client-focused Account Manager . This role will work closely with the assigned Sales Representative while serving as the primary day-to-day account and delivery liaison for strategic accounts..

The Account Manager will be responsible for ensuring that projects are well planned, coordinated, communicated, and executed. This is a hands-on client leadership role that combines account management, project oversight, site coordination, and service delivery discipline.

The successful candidate will help ensure customers have a clear, responsive point of contact who understands its priorities, manages delivery expectations, coordinates internal and external resources, and proactively addresses issues before they affect timelines, budgets, or the customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Account Management and Client Relationship Support

Partner with the assigned Sales Representative to support and grow customer relationships.
Serve as the primary day-to-day operational contact for stakeholders.
Build strong working relationships with hospital IT leadership, clinical teams, facilities, project teams, vendors, and other customer stakeholders.
Lead regular account-status and project-status meetings.
Ensure customer questions, concerns, risks, and escalations are addressed promptly and professionally.
Maintain clear communication between customer, Sales, Service Delivery, Operations, Finance, vendors, and subcontractors.

Project Delivery Oversight

Oversee the planning, coordination, and delivery of projects, including:
Lifecycle management (LCM) refreshes
PC and endpoint refresh projects
Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) deployment and migration projects
Audio-visual (AV) installations, upgrades, and integration projects
Clinical mobility, workstation, wall mount, and related healthcare technology deployments
Participate in project kickoffs, customer planning meetings, site walkthroughs, readiness assessments, and post-installation reviews.
Coordinate project managers, field technicians, vendors, subcontractors, and customer resources to ensure responsibilities, timelines, access requirements, and deliverables are clearly defined.
Maintain visibility into project schedules, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and action items.
Identify and escalate potential delivery risks related to staffing, inventory, site readiness, security access, scheduling, scope changes, customer dependencies, or vendor performance.
Drive issue resolution and maintain accountability for follow-up through project completion.
Ensure project documentation, customer communications, and closeout materials are complete and accurate.

Commercial and Operational Coordination

Support scope clarification, change-order identification, billing readiness, and project closeout.
Ensure internal teams understand customer commitments, project requirements, timelines, and priorities.
Partner with Finance and Operations to ensure completed work is documented and ready for invoicing.
Help identify opportunities for additional services, project work, managed services, and account expansion.
Provide leadership with regular updates on account health, delivery performance, risks, customer satisfaction, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in account management, project management, service delivery, customer success, or operations leadership.
Experience supporting complex, multi-site healthcare, IT, clinical technology, managed services, or technology deployment projects.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders, competing priorities, project timelines, and customer expectations.
Strong understanding of project delivery disciplines, including scheduling, risk management, issue escalation, scope management, and stakeholder communication.
Experience conducting onsite walkthroughs and working directly with hospital IT, clinical, facilities, and executive stakeholders.
Excellent communication, organization, follow-through, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to balance strong customer advocacy with operational discipline, financial awareness, and accountability.
Experience with LCM, PC refreshes, AVD, AV integration, clinical mobility, healthcare technology deployments, or managed services is strongly preferred.
Willingness to travel regularly throughout the customer footprint in surrounding Jacksonville area

What Success Looks Like

Customer has responsive, and accountable point of contact for project delivery coordination and escalation.
Projects begin with stronger planning, site readiness, communication, and alignment.
Delivery risks are identified early and resolved before they create customer dissatisfaction, delays, or unplanned costs.
Internal teams have better visibility into customer priorities, schedules, dependencies, and commitments.
Projects are completed with stronger documentation, billing discipline, customer communication, and closeout.
The Sales Representative is able to focus on strategic relationship development and growth while the Account Manager ensures delivery is organized, accountable, and customer-centered.
