Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Seamstress to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for fashion and a strong understanding of garment construction. This role involves working closely with customers to create and alter garments that meet their specific needs. The Seamstress will utilize sewing machines and various sewing techniques to ensure high-quality results.

Duties

Operate sewing machines to construct, alter, and repair garments according to specifications.
Collaborate with customers to understand their requirements and provide excellent customer service throughout the fitting and alteration process.
Measure clients accurately to ensure proper fit of garments.
Perform garment construction tasks including cutting, sewing, and finishing techniques.
Maintain an organized workspace, ensuring all tools and materials are readily available.
Utilize basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and adjustments as needed.
Stay updated on fashion trends and techniques to enhance skills and service offerings.

Requirements

Proven experience in sewing, garment construction, or a related field is preferred.
Familiarity with various types of sewing machines and tools is essential.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
Basic math skills for accurate measurements and adjustments.
Previous experience in fashion retail is a plus but not mandatory.
