Come Do Meaningful Work With Us
Mandala Wellness is growing, and we are looking for a compassionate, collaborative, and clinically strong Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team in Ponte Vedra Beach.
At Mandala, ABA doesn't happen in a silo.
Our BCBAs work alongside psychologists, mental health clinicians, speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, educators, RBTs, families, and other professionals to provide thoughtful, individualized care that supports the whole child.
We believe effective ABA should be evidence-based, ethical, developmentally appropriate, and meaningful to the individuals and families we serve. Our goal isn't simply behavior change—it's helping children build the communication, independence, relationships, confidence, and skills they need to participate more fully in their everyday lives.
If you're looking for a place where you can practice high-quality ABA, have autonomy over your clinical schedule, and be part of a genuinely interdisciplinary team, we'd love to meet you.
What You'll Do
As a BCBA at Mandala Wellness, you will manage a clinical caseload while providing leadership and support to the RBTs, families, and professionals surrounding each client.
Responsibilities include:
- Manage an individualized clinical caseload while maintaining a minimum expectation of 25 billable hours per week.
- Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments, including functional behavior assessments and skill-based assessments as clinically appropriate.
- Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans based on each client's strengths, needs, environment, and family priorities.
- Develop and oversee behavior intervention plans, skill-acquisition programs, and caregiver training goals.
- Provide ongoing BCBA supervision, training, and clinical direction to Registered Behavior Technicians.
- Observe treatment implementation, review data, assess treatment integrity, and make data-informed clinical decisions.
- Provide caregiver training and collaborate with families to promote meaningful generalization across home and community environments.
- Collaborate with teachers, psychologists, SLPs, OTs, LMHCs, physicians, and other members of the client's care team when appropriate.
- Participate in and conduct clinical, family, interdisciplinary, and treatment-team meetings as needed.
- Support clients across clinic, school, community, and other natural environments based on clinical need.
- Mentor team members pursuing BCBA certification and provide supervision in accordance with current BACB requirements, when applicable.
- Complete insurance authorizations and reauthorizations, treatment-plan updates, progress notes, progress reports, and other required clinical documentation within applicable timelines.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.
- Participate in staff development, trainings, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Maintain current knowledge of ABA research, ethical standards, payer requirements, and evidence-based clinical practices.
- Advocate for treatment that is ethical, compassionate, individualized, and socially meaningful.
- Assist with scheduling and coverage needs within the clinic as needed, working collaboratively with clinical leadership to support continuity of care.
- Serve as designated Senior Staff Onsite one day per week, providing leadership support to the clinic and assisting with end-of-day and clinic closing responsibilities.
Compensation, Scheduling & Clinical Autonomy
We recognize that high-quality clinical work requires more than face-to-face billable hours. Our compensation and scheduling structure is designed to provide BCBAs with clear expectations while also allowing flexibility in how they manage their caseloads and clinical responsibilities.
- $70,000–$90,000 annual salary, with compensation aligned to the BCBA's agreed-upon weekly billable expectation.
- Minimum of 25 billable hours per week, with opportunities for a higher base salary based on a higher weekly billable commitment.
- Weekly bonus opportunities — BCBAs may be eligible to earn additional compensation for qualifying billable hours completed above their established weekly billable expectation, in accordance with Mandala Wellness's current bonus structure.
- Autonomy in designing your clinical schedule — BCBAs have flexibility to build and manage their own supervision schedule based on the needs of their caseload, clients, and clinical team.
- Flexible administrative time — structure your non-billable time around the needs of your caseload to complete insurance authorizations and reauthorizations, treatment planning, progress notes and reports, data review, meetings, team collaboration, caregiver communication, and other required clinical responsibilities.
Specific billable expectations, corresponding base compensation, and applicable bonus eligibility are established as part of the employment offer.

A Different Kind of ABA Environment
We want our clinicians to have room to think clinically.
That means looking beyond isolated behaviors and asking what skills will genuinely improve a client's quality of life. It means collaborating with families rather than simply handing them a treatment plan. It means recognizing when another discipline can offer valuable insight. And it means creating opportunities for children to practice skills in the environments where they actually need them.
We also recognize that quality clinical work extends beyond face-to-face treatment. BCBAs need time to analyze data, write meaningful progress notes, complete insurance authorizations, update treatment plans, meet with families and team members, collaborate across disciplines, and thoughtfully prepare for supervision.
That's why our BCBAs have flexibility in structuring their administrative time and autonomy in designing their supervision schedules. You know your caseload and clinical responsibilities, and we want you to have the ability to organize your week in a way that supports both your clients and your team.
Strong clinical care also comes from strong teams. Our BCBAs aren't just case supervisors—they are clinical leaders who help develop RBTs, collaborate with colleagues, problem-solve alongside families, and contribute to the overall culture and quality of our programs.
At Mandala, you aren't expected to do that work alone.
You'll be surrounded by professionals who bring different perspectives to the table while sharing the same goal: helping each individual grow, connect, and thrive.
