Job Title: Account Manager

Pay rate $19-21/hr
Hybrid Schedule - Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm, can choose 2 days a week to WFH

Position Overview

We are seeking a customer-focused Account Manager. This role is responsible for the ongoing administration and support of new and existing client accounts, ensuring an exceptional client experience while managing day-to-day account activities.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, service-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This position partners closely with clients, brokers, and internal teams to provide account support, coordinate renewals, deliver training, and ensure the successful administration of consumer-driven health plan programs.

Employment Details

Employment Type: 6-Month Contract-to-Hire
Pay Rate: $19.00–$21.00/hour
Location: Preference for local candidates; remote candidates will also be considered.
Schedule: Hybrid schedule (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM)
Employees may work from home 2 days per week

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts.
Respond promptly to client and broker phone calls and emails regarding account questions and issues.
Manage all aspects of the annual client renewal process, including:
Renewal confirmations
Collection of required documentation
Enrollment setup and audits
Benefit schedule coordination
Welcome communications and funding requirements
Maintain accurate client records and account information across internal systems.
Conduct virtual training sessions for employer portal users, including onboarding new clients and providing refresher training as needed.
Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive outreach and regular account reviews.
Promote new technologies, services, and value-added offerings during client interactions.
Contact clients regarding account funding requirements when applicable.
Facilitate client terminations and ensure all required processes are completed accurately.
Prepare and distribute annual reconciliation reports and other recurring client reports.
Participate in health fairs, enrollment meetings, or client events as needed.
Support the Sales team by assisting with client needs and account-related activities.
Complete additional projects and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

Previous account management, client services, customer success, benefits administration, or related experience preferred.
Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization abilities.
Ability to manage multiple tasks with a strong sense of urgency.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Comfortable conducting virtual meetings and client training sessions.
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience supporting employer groups, brokers, or benefit administration
Experience working in a client-facing, service-driven environment.

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
