Overview

Join our compassionate team as a Caregiver/Med Tech and make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and individuals with disabilities. In this vital role, you will provide personalized assistance, medical support, and emotional care to promote independence, dignity, and well-being. This paid position offers an energizing environment where your caregiving skills directly impact those who need it most.

We have an opening for a full time Caregiver/Med Tech to work our overnight shift from 11pm - 7am.

Responsibilities

Assist residents or clients with daily personal care activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
Administer medications accurately following prescribed protocols while maintaining detailed medical documentation in EMR (Electronic Medical Records) system.
Monitor vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration to ensure patient stability.
Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding patient confidentiality and adhering to all state healthcare regulations.
Perform basic medical tasks including first aid, CPR certification, and basic life support to respond effectively in emergencies.
Document all care activities meticulously and communicate effectively with healthcare teams about patient status and changes.

Requirements

Proven experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or home care environments.
Certification in CPR and First Aid; additional certifications such as hospice care or Alzheimer’s care are a plus.
Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting while maintaining safety standards.
Strong caregiving skills combined with excellent communication abilities to connect empathetically with residents and team members.
