At Bright Spark Therapy, we believe therapists do their best work when they have autonomy, connection, and a genuine sense of purpose.

We are a therapist-owned pediatric therapy company serving children and families throughout the Jacksonville area. Rather than bringing children into a clinic simply because that's where the therapy happens to be, we bring therapy to the child — at home, school, daycare, or in the community.

We're looking for a Pediatric Occupational Therapist who wants the freedom to build a schedule that fits their life while being part of a team that values clinical collaboration and professional relationships.

Your Schedule. Your Caseload. Your Practice.

As an independent contractor, you'll have the flexibility to decide when you work and how much you work.

Whether you're looking to build a full caseload or want a smaller schedule that fits around other commitments, we're interested in finding an arrangement that works for you.

You'll have the opportunity to:

Set your own availability and schedule
Develop a caseload that fits your preferred workload
Provide therapy in natural environments where children are most comfortable
Build meaningful relationships with children, caregivers, teachers, and other providers
Collaborate with other pediatric therapists
Grow clinically through mentorship, shared ideas, and team support
Practice with the independence and clinical judgment of a therapist — not a number on a productivity spreadsheet

What You'll Do

You will provide occupational therapy services to children with a variety of developmental, sensory, motor, and functional needs.

Your day may look different from one client to the next. You might work with a child in their home on daily routines, support a student at school with participation and fine-motor skills, or help a family develop strategies that can be incorporated naturally into everyday life.

Responsibilities may include:

Completing occupational therapy evaluations and assessments
Developing individualized treatment plans
Providing direct OT intervention
Documenting services and maintaining appropriate clinical records
Educating and collaborating with caregivers, teachers, and other professionals
Recommending strategies and activities that support carryover outside of therapy
Participating in clinical collaboration with the Bright Spark team

Pediatric experience is a plus, but we're also open to newer OTs with a strong interest in pediatrics and a willingness to learn.
