Full Job Description

Join Kayser Janesville Chevrolet Buick GMC as a Body Shop Painter, where your expertise will help restore vehicles to their pristine condition. In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint and finishes to damaged vehicles, ensuring color matching and high-quality workmanship that meets our company’s standards.

Responsibilities

Prepare vehicle surfaces for painting by sanding, masking, and cleaning.
Mix and apply paint, primers, and clear coats using spray guns and other equipment.
Ensure paint jobs meet company quality and safety standards.
Perform color matching and touch-up work as needed.
Maintain and clean painting equipment and work area.
Collaborate with other body shop technicians to complete repair and restoration projects efficiently.
Follow all safety regulations and best practices during painting processes.

Requirements

Proven experience as a body shop painter or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of automotive painting techniques and color matching.
Ability to work with precision and attention to detail.
Familiarity with mixing paints, spray guns, and related equipment.
Good physical stamina and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Commitment to safety and quality standards.
