Territory Sales Manager – Packaging Equipment

Territory: Western U.S. — Texas, Arizona, California, or Nevada
Travel: Up to 75% regional travel
Compensation: $95,000–$120,000 base + commission + car allowance
Work Environment: Home-based / Remote

About the Opportunity

Global leader in packaging machinery and integrated solutions, serving major industries including food & beverage, beer, wine & spirits, personal care, cosmetics, chemical, and household products.

What You'll Do

Develop new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, cold calling, and customer referrals.
Build and manage strong relationships with customers and key decision-makers throughout the territory.
Identify customer needs and develop opportunities for packaging equipment and integrated systems.
Conduct customer meetings, product presentations, and technical discussions.
Prepare and present commercial and technical proposals based on customer requirements.
Manage opportunities from initial contact through negotiation and close.
Develop strategic account and territory plans to maximize sales opportunities.
Work closely with Product Management, Engineering, and other internal teams to deliver the right solutions.
Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity to identify new opportunities.
Maintain accurate sales activity and pipeline reporting.
Travel throughout the assigned territory, up to 75%.

What We're Looking For

2+ years of experience selling capital equipment or other complex technical solutions.
Experience in packaging machinery or industrial equipment sales is highly preferred.
Proven ability to prospect, develop new business, and close sales.
Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Technical aptitude, with the ability to understand mechanical, electrical, and PLC-related concepts.
Self-motivated, competitive, persistent, and comfortable working independently from a home office.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a sales territory effectively.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical sales experience.
