Full Job Description

Title: Project Manager
Location: Thompson, OH

Job Summary: The Project Manager leads the execution of concrete construction projects specializing in formwork and structural concrete systems. This role is responsible for delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget while coordinating with project teams, general contractors, engineers, and clients throughout the project lifecycle. The Project Manager oversees project planning, scheduling, cost control, quality, and contract administration while fostering strong customer relationships and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

Lead the planning and execution of concrete formwork, shoring, and structural construction projects.
Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within scope, and within budget.
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, cost controls, and project reporting.
Oversee project estimating, scheduling, procurement, and installation activities.
Conduct jobsite inspections to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and project specifications.
Review shoring systems, rebar placement, post-tensioning installations, and structural components.
Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards.
Interpret structural and architectural drawings, specifications, and project documents.
Coordinate precast and shop drawings with engineering, fabrication, and field teams.
Collaborate with general contractors, engineers, architects, vendors, and internal departments.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, contractors, and project stakeholders.
Lead scope reviews, project meetings, design coordination, and client presentations.
Manage contract negotiations, change orders, subcontractors, and vendor agreements.
Monitor project budgets, financial performance, and cost forecasting.
Mentor, coach, and develop project team members.
Promote a culture of safety, collaboration, quality, and continuous improvement.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

Education & Preferred Qualifications:

Associate degree or equivalent experience in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of three years of construction project management experience, preferably in concrete, formwork, or structural construction.
Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
Knowledge of construction project lifecycles, scheduling, budgeting, and safety regulations.
Experience with concrete formwork systems, shoring, and structural construction preferred.
Proficiency with Bluebeam and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Project, and Outlook.
OSHA 30 certification required or must be obtained within the first year of employment.
Excellent communication, organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across project teams.

Physical & Mental Demands:

Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and handling materials or equipment.
Frequent sitting and computer work while managing project documentation and schedules.
Occasional climbing, kneeling, crawling, and lifting or carrying up to 25 pounds.
Ability to analyze project documents, construction drawings, budgets, and schedules.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Ability to communicate effectively with clients, contractors, vendors, and internal teams.
May require operation of company vehicles, office equipment, and tools associated with construction site visits.

Work Environment:

Work is performed in a combination of office, manufacturing, and construction jobsite environments.
Frequent computer work in an office setting with regular collaboration across departments.
Periodic jobsite visits requiring walking on uneven terrain and exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
Exposure to construction activities, moving equipment, moderate to loud noise, and active work zones.
Travel up to 50% for project sites, customer meetings, design reviews, and business needs.
Full-time schedule with flexibility to support project demands and deadlines.
