We're Hiring a Small Business Account Manager!

We're looking for a Small Business Account Manager to support our agency in managing client relationships, upholding Winter-Dent's reputation for excellent customer service, and servicing of commercial accounts.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Ongoing Client Servicing

Timely handing of all incoming communication (calls, emails) from clients and companies regarding accounts in AM's book
Listening, recognizing, reacting, suggesting
Proactively recognizing opportunities for additional lines of coverage and/or increased limits to accurately protect client's aspects
Verify policy and change information, facilitating corrections when necessary
Serve as back-up to other account managers on the Select Lines team to provide coverage when they are out-of-the-office
Process cancellation correspondence (comes in various ways - requests, emails, mail, downloads, etc. Usually due to clients not paying. Tell them after it cancels, here is how you can fix it)
Email/mail applicable audits within 24 hours of receipt to insureds and follow-up as set by established audit procedures
Manage incoming mail

Manage Renewal Process

Create and send renewal summary to client 90 days prior to renewal date
- Purpose of renewal summary is to proactively gather information on any business changes or updates to the list of certificate holders
Review renewal offer from carrier for accuracy, determine if policy needs to be remarketed or bound
- Bind renewal per the requirements and binding authority of each company's contract
- Complete renewal process (including ID cards, certificates, binders, evidences of insurance, invoicing, etc.)
- Remarket insurance coverage (including preparing applications, requesting loss runs, quoting, etc.)
Ensure all proper documentation and steps are taken in the agency's CRM (client management system), Applied EPIC
Support the Select Lines team through challenges, implementations, capacity constraints, etc.
Global mindset/WD Ambassador
All other duties assigned

YOUR QUALIFICATIONSEXPERIENCE

You have your PropertyCasualty (P&C) license acquired upon hire or to be obtained within 90 days of employment
2+ years of insurance industry preferred
You have proven experience in client-facing roles with a focus on building and maintaining long-term client relationships strongly preferred
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate, build meaningful connections, and calmly de-escalate situations of frustration
