Position Summary

The RN/LPN Unit Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily clinical operations of an assigned nursing unit. This leadership role ensures the delivery of high-quality, resident-centered care while supervising nursing staff, coordinating interdisciplinary services, and maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations.

Responsibilities

Oversee the day-to-day operations of an assigned nursing unit
Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff
Ensure high-quality resident care and positive clinical outcomes
Complete resident assessments and coordinate care planning
Monitor physician orders and ensure timely implementation
Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and the interdisciplinary team
Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges
Maintain accurate clinical documentation
Ensure compliance with CMS, state, and company regulations
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and infection prevention efforts
Respond to resident concerns and assist in resolving clinical issues
Promote a positive, team-oriented culture

Qualifications

Current Missouri RN or LPN license in good standing
CPR/BLS Certification
Long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or post-acute care experience preferred
Previous leadership, charge nurse, or supervisory experience preferred
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Passion for providing exceptional resident-centered care
