Summary

As Head Chef at any of our restaurants in Stephens City, Clear Brook and Winchester, VA you will be responsible for overseeing all culinary operations within our organization. This role is vital in ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety while contributing to our mission of providing exceptional entertainment experiences.

Responsibilities

Lead the culinary team in preparing high-quality meals that meet the standards of our events and services.
Develop innovative menus that reflect current trends and customer preferences.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean kitchen environment.
Manage kitchen operations including inventory control, staff scheduling, and budgeting.
Train and mentor kitchen staff to enhance their skills and improve team performance.
Collaborate with other departments to coordinate catering services for events.
Monitor food quality during preparation and presentation to ensure consistency.
Implement cost-effective strategies to optimize kitchen operations.

Qualifications

Proven experience as Head Chef or in a similar culinary leadership role.
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
Exceptional culinary skills with a creative flair for menu development.
Experience in managing kitchen operations including staff management and budgeting.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
Strong communication skills for interacting with staff and other departments.
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality.
A degree in Culinary Arts or related field is preferred.
