Patriot Lifting is a growing mobile crane company serving customers throughout Georgia. Our projects include commercial HVAC lifts, data center equipment, machinery placement, water and wastewater infrastructure, industrial storage, and other specialized lifting operations.
We are seeking a talented and dependable Video Editor to transform footage from our projects, employees, equipment, and strategic partnerships into professional and engaging content.
Position Summary
The Video Editor will be responsible for editing and producing high-quality video content that showcases Patriot Lifting’s people, equipment, capabilities, projects, and partnerships.
This position will work closely with company leadership and the marketing team to create short-form social media videos, project highlights, customer and partner features, recruiting content, advertisements, and longer-form promotional videos.
The ideal candidate understands storytelling, pacing, sound, branding, and how to turn real-world field footage into content that captures attention and supports company growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit professional video content for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, the company website, and other marketing channels.
- Produce short-form videos, reels, project recaps, promotional videos, employee features, recruiting content, and customer success stories.
- Create content that highlights and supports Patriot Lifting’s strategic partnerships.
- Organize raw footage and develop it into clear, engaging stories that reflect the Patriot Lifting brand.
- Add music, voiceovers, captions, graphics, transitions, logos, and other visual elements.
- Format and optimize videos for the requirements of each social media platform.
- Review footage from active crane, rigging, transportation, storage, and industrial projects.
- Collaborate with the Social Media Marketing Manager and company leadership to plan content and meet publishing schedules.
- Assist with filming at the Jenkinsburg facility and local jobsites when needed.
- Maintain an organized digital library of raw footage, completed videos, graphics, music, and other media assets.
- Create multiple versions of content for different platforms, audiences, campaigns, and strategic partners.
- Ensure videos comply with customer confidentiality, jobsite safety, branding, and content-approval requirements.
- Review content performance and recommend improvements based on audience engagement.
- Stay current with video-editing techniques, social media trends, platform requirements, and emerging content formats.
- Complete revisions accurately and within established deadlines.
Qualifications
- Three or more years of professional video-editing, content-production, or related experience.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating video-editing and storytelling ability.
- Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or comparable professional editing software.
- Experience editing short-form content for social media.
- Strong understanding of pacing, sound design, music selection, captions, transitions, and visual storytelling.
- Ability to organize and manage large amounts of footage and multiple active projects.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing professional work.
- Ability to receive feedback and complete revisions efficiently.
- Ability to work independently while coordinating with company leadership and the marketing team.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- Willingness to occasionally visit active jobsites involving cranes, trucks, construction equipment, and industrial operations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience creating content for construction, industrial, transportation, manufacturing, equipment-rental, or skilled-trades companies.
- Experience with Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Audition, Canva, or similar creative software.
- Experience creating motion graphics, animated titles, branded templates, and promotional advertisements.
- Photography, videography, drone, or audio-production experience.
- Understanding of social media analytics and content-performance metrics.
- Experience producing customer testimonials, recruiting videos, training content, or partnership features.
- FAA Part 107 drone certification is a plus but is not required.

Compensation
The salary range for this position is $50,000–$75,000 per year, depending on experience, qualifications, portfolio quality, and demonstrated capabilities.
