About the Position

BC Staffing is currently seeking a reliable, hardworking, and motivated Line Cook to join our team in Port Saint Lucie, Florida. The ideal candidate is passionate about food preparation, works efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment, and maintains high standards of cleanliness, quality, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and company standards.

Set up and stock kitchen stations before each shift.

Ensure food quality, consistency, and proper presentation.

Follow food safety, sanitation, and health regulations at all times.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Properly store food and monitor inventory levels.

Assist with food preparation and ingredient preparation.

Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and management.

Work efficiently during busy service periods.

Support other kitchen team members as needed.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Line Cook, Prep Cook, or Cook preferred.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.

Strong attention to detail.

Ability to multitask and stay organized.

Reliable transportation.

Ability to stand for extended periods.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in restaurants, hotels, resorts, or commercial kitchens.

Food Handler Certification (preferred but not required).

Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
