Expected salary range of $192,600 to $214,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).

Primary Purpose of Position

A senior lawyer responsible for supporting all aspects of the development and construction of natural gas-fired power plants, battery storage facilities, solar farms, and carbon capture and sequestration facilities across the United States.

Primary Duties and Accountabilities

Plan, conduct, and supervise complex legal assignments
Evaluate legal and business risks and advise clients accordingly
Interpret and apply organizational policy according to law
Represent the company in agency proceedings and litigation
Prepare and revise budgets and early matter assessments involving outside counsel
Provide leadership to less experienced attorneys and support staff
Perform additional duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

8-years professional experience in a specialized area of law
Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing and to analyze legal materials and data
Excellent legal research, analytical abilities, and knowledge of federal and or state law
Demonstrated comprehensive knowledge of legal principles, practices, and procedures, with the ability to apply them to complex assignments
An LLB or JD from an accredited law school and be licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdictions
