Essential Functions Statement(s)

Affix labels on skids or products to identify shipping information.
Measure and count products and materials.
Examine and inspect skids, materials, and products to ensure that packing specifications are met.
Verify shipping information against bills of lading, invoices, orders or other records. Complete specific forms and records when

required.

Load and unload trucks with a forklift,hand truck to transport products to the proper designated area.
Perform housekeeping duties to ensure cleanliness of work area.
Receive returned product from customers. Responsible for examining returned product to ensure all items are in intact.
Maintain inventory on products, wraps and pallets.
Assist with training of new employees.
Perform preventive maintenance and general maintenance on forklifts, sweepers, etc. as required.
Execute the picking and shipping (delivery) of all Sales Orders using the WMS. Performing the delivery procedure according to

the SOP.

The shipping assistant will be responsible for tarping loads as needed.
Communicate daily issues and pertinent information to appropriate departments when needed.
Follow all plant safety procedures in order to ensure personal safety and the safety of others.
Understand and follow all company policies, practices and procedures.
Shipping assistant will be responsible for transferring finished goods from the production end of the facility to the finished

goods yard physically and in the WMS system.

Perform other duties when assigned.
