This job is a great opportunity for students and graduates in the Charleston area who have previous work experience from summer jobs and internships or anyone who enjoys customer-facing work.

Our season goes from May 1st until September 30th.

Your supervisor is our Aqua Park Manager and Assistant Manager.

In this position, we are hiring Customer Onboarding Staff.

Who are we looking for?

You are a friendly, motivated and reliable people person.
You are a self-starter who can work with minimal supervision. You have attention to detail while promoting a fun work atmosphere.
You enjoy interaction with customers and do your best to let them have a great time.
You have the ability to work in a busy work environment.
You are not scared to speak out loud in front of group
You are very safety conscious (customers have to be swimmers).
You have a good understanding of workflows, should be able to follow processes and are ready to solve hiccups as they occur.
You are a good organizer and see cleanliness as part of your job duty.
You are physically fit – able to bend, twist & turn with flexibility as you will be working outdoors on and around water and in varying weather conditions.
In a nutshell: The right applicant will be honest, punctual, hard-working and have experience in a customer facing role. You will be part of a team consisting of operational staff running the activities and the park as well as the general team members supporting the specific areas of the Park (Aqua Park, Floating Ropes Course, Wakeboard, Events).

What are your job tasks?

As a Customer Onboarding Staff Member, you are in charge of:

Opening and closing procedures of the safety area
Ensuring daily, weekly and monthly checklists are completed
Starting and shutting down the entrance gate
Cleaning the safety area (incl. trash) and sorting the life jacket rack
Checking that customers have the correct and valid wristband for each activity
Equipping customers with the right size life jackets
Checking that customers wear life jackets
Providing safety instructions to customers
Supervising timing of sessions / session changeovers
Providing medical assistance as required (first aid kit, CPR if needed)
Participating in safety drills and trainings as required
Other tasks as assigned by supervisor

Nice to have: CPR or lifeguard certification. We also provide a lifeguard certification training as part of the job onboarding.

Must have: Work experience at a customer facing position.
