Are you an organized professional who enjoys building relationships, managing projects, and making a meaningful impact?

Mom's House is seeking an Administrative & Development Coordinator to play a key role in the daily operations and continued growth of our organization. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys combining organization, creativity, communications, relationship-building, and fundraising to help a nonprofit organization grow and thrive.

Working alongside the Executive Director, you'll help strengthen community partnerships, support fundraising efforts, coordinate communications and marketing, and ensure the organization operates efficiently while advancing our mission of empowering single parents through education.

Examples of Essential Features

Coordinate daily administrative and office operations
Assist with payroll, accounts payable, financial records, and audit preparation
Create newsletters, social media content, marketing materials, and website updates
Build relationships with donors, sponsors, businesses, volunteers, and community partners
Support fundraising campaigns, special events, and donor stewardship initiatives
Maintain organizational records, calendars, and office systems
Represent Mom's House professionally throughout the community

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED
One year of experience in administration, bookkeeping, customer service, nonprofit administration, marketing, communications, fundraising, event planning, or a related field

Experience with Microsoft Office is required. Experience with QuickBooks, Canva, Constant Contact, social media, or donor management software is a plus.

A valid New York State driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
