Your Role – “Are you…?”:
- Creative and Innovative: Generate and develop design solutions on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Skilled, Persistent & Adaptable: Develop projects from schematic design through construction administration for a variety of projects that range in scope and scale
- A Team Player: Assist in production & coordination of project drafting, construction detailing, documenting existing conditions, and utilizing drawing/documentation standards
- Detail Oriented: Review construction submittals & conduct on-site observations and document site reviews
- A Good Communicator and Manager: Manage communication between project team, client, vendors, contractors, and consultants
- Organized and Disciplined: Attend various project meetings and assist with various administrative tasks and documentation
- Engaging and Amiable: Contribute to office activities, initiatives and learning programs
Your Qualifications – “The Deal Breakers”:
Hard Skills
- Valid Driver’s License & US Citizenship, required
- Associates degree in CAD drawing or Bachelors degree in Architecture or equivalent experience, required
- 3+ years of professional experience, highly preferred
- Knowledge of building codes, materials, construction methods, standards and architectural principles/practices, highly preferred
- Proficiency in latest version of AutoCAD, required
- Proficiency in SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite, highly preferred
Soft Skills
- Strong attention to detail and technical accuracy
- Flexibility to focus on concurrent projects in various stages of development
- A quick learner and self-starter with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
- Excellent written + verbal communication
- Well-rounded, strategic thinker with the ability to understand and convey information and ideas presented from concept to construction completion
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Friendly and personable demeanor with a willingness to engage beyond task-oriented interactions
TWA offers benefits such as health insurance stipend, 401k matching, paid time off and sick days, and advancement opportunities. Architectural Associate (0-3 years, non-licensed) salary range from 40-50k per year. Architect Level 1 (3+ years, non-licensed) salary range from 50-70k per year. Architect Level 1 (3+ years, licensed) salary range from 70-90k per year. Actual compensation will be based on qualifications, relevant experience, skills, and other job-related factors.
