Full Job Description

Position Overview

In partnership with our client, an award-winning design firm specializing in entertainment, hospitality, and experiential environments, we are seeking a Revit Drawing Checker to support architectural and design project teams. This is a part-time contract assignment with our client (Remote work, roughly 5-10 hours per week).

Our client designs innovative spaces for music studios, live entertainment venues, restaurants, sports and entertainment facilities, and other high-profile commercial projects throughout the United States. This position is ideal for an experienced Revit professional who enjoys reviewing construction documents, ensuring drawing quality, and maintaining drafting standards while working remotely on a flexible, part-time schedule.

Responsibilities

Review Revit models and construction drawing sets for accuracy, completeness, and overall quality.
Verify drawings comply with company drafting standards, BIM protocols, and project requirements.
Identify inconsistencies, omissions, and coordination issues within architectural drawing packages.
Ensure proper organization of sheets, views, annotations, dimensions, schedules, and detailing.
Coordinate with architects, designers, and production staff to resolve drawing discrepancies.
Perform quality control reviews prior to project milestones and client submissions.
Verify adherence to applicable building codes and industry drafting standards where appropriate.
Review consultant drawings for coordination and integration into project documentation.
Assist in maintaining and improving Revit standards, templates, and best practices.
Provide feedback to project teams to improve drawing quality and production efficiency.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience producing and reviewing architectural construction documents using Autodesk Revit.
Strong understanding of commercial architectural documentation and detailing.
Expert-level proficiency with Autodesk Revit.
Experience reviewing drawing sets for quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC).
Excellent knowledge of architectural drafting standards and construction documentation.
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies before project issuance.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment while meeting project deadlines.
