What you’ll be doing
Baby Delight is seeking a highly motivated Amazon Business Owner to lead the day-to-day management and execution of our Amazon Vendor Central business under Baby Delight, Joovy, Go With Me, and Omada Golf Brands. This role will own the overall health and performance of the Amazon channel, including sales growth, inventory management, forecasting, catalog management, promotional execution, operational excellence, and partnership with Amazon.
Responsibilities
Business Ownership:
- Own the overall performance and profitability of the Amazon business.
- Monitor daily business performance and identify opportunities for growth.
- Develop weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual business reviews.
- Analyze sales trends and recommend strategies to improve performance.
- Execute strategic initiatives established with the Director of Sales.
Amazon Vendor Services (AVS) Partnership:
- Serve as the primary day-to-day contact with Amazon's Vendor Services (AVS) Manager.
- Track action items and ensure timely execution.
- Partner with the AVS on:
- Business planning
- New product launches
- Inventory optimization
- Promotional execution
- Operational improvements
- Forecasting
- Catalog improvements
- Issue resolution
Vendor Central Management:
- Manage all aspects of Vendor Central
- Own all Amazon new product launches from item setup through replenishment and post-launch analysis.
- Manage product catalog maintenance and pricing with the assistance of our sales coordinator.
- Manage: Product listing, images, A+ content, Brand Store, Variations, Browse Nodes, Product Attributes
- Resolve catalog suppressions and listing issues.
- Submit and manage Vendor Central support cases.
- Monitor compliance and operational metrics.
- Review, dispute, and track Amazon chargebacks and deductions.
- Monitor shortage claims and recoveries with the account managers.
- Review operational scorecards and improve compliance metrics.
Seller Central Management:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of our Amazon Seller Central account for Canada and Omada Golf.
- Oversee the product listings, content, images, A+ Content, Brand Store, and catalog optimization.
- Coordinate FBA inventory planning and replenishment with our account managers.
- Monitor account health, product compliance, and performance metrics to maintain excellent seller standing.
- Resolve listing suppressions, stranded inventory, and account- related issues.
- Manage case submissions and work directly with Amazon Seller Support to resolve operational issues.
- Support the launch of new products.
- With the help of the sales coordinator, monitor pricing, buy box performance, and competitive positioning
- Track inventory health, aged inventory, sell- through rates, storage fees while recommending actions to improve inventory efficiency.
Inventory & Forecasting:
- Partner with the Reporting team on demand forecasts for Amazon.
- Partner with Supply Chain and Operations to maintain healthy inventory levels.
- Monitor Weeks of Supply, In-Stock%, Purchase Orders, Replenishment trends.
- Identify inventory risks and recommend corrective actions.
- Support successful product launches through inventory planning.
Pricing & Promotions:
- Execute and forecast for promotional calendars including Prime Day, Big Deal Days, Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and seasonal events.
- Evaluate promotional performance and recommend improvements.
- Assist in annual business planning and customer negotiations.
Data & Analytics:
- Analyze business performance using: Vendor & Seller Central, Amazon Retail Analytics, Power BI Reporting.
- Present business insights and recommendations to the Director of Sales.
- Track KPI and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Financial Management:
- Own the Amazon P&L and contribution margin.
- Analyze profitability by ASIN and recommend actions to improve margins.
- Evaluate promotional investment and return on investment.
- Assist with annual budgeting and forecasting.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business, or a related field
- 3-4 years managing Amazon Vendor and Seller Central
- Experience working directly with Amazon Services Partners a plus
- Strong knowledge of Amazon retail operations
- Experience with inventory planning, demand forecasting, and analysis
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Advanced Word, PowerPoint, and excel skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Pay: $95,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
