Full Job Description

HR Director

Compensation will depend on level of experience

Overview: : Heavy Industrial Manufacturer seeks a Director of Human Resources with 10+ Years of Experience.

CONFIDENTIAL SEARCH

- 10+ years of Progressive Human Resources Leadership Experience within a Heavy Industrial or Manufacturing Environment

- Comprehensive Knowledge of Employment Law, HR compliance, Federal, state & Local Regulatory Requirements

- Experience supporting ISO-certified Manufacturing Operations

- Demonstrated Success Leading Strategic Human Resources Initiatives

- Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and Workplace Safety Practices

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute HR initiatives across multiple state locations
Manage HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, and employee relations
Ensure compliance with federal and state-specific employment laws and regulations
Coordinate with facility managers to address location-specific HR needs and challenges
Implement and maintain consistent HR policies and procedures across all locations
Oversee benefits administration and compensation programs
Conduct regular site visits to maintain strong relationships with local management and employees
Lead HR projects and initiatives to improve employee engagement and retention

Requirements:

10+ years of progressive HR experience, including multi-state operations
Bachelor’s degree a plus
Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
