Full Job Description

KH CONTROLS, INC.

At KH Controls, Inc. we design and manufacture power supplies and lighting systems for the longwall mining industry. We are a leader in our industry, servicing approximately 90% of the domestic market, and we are continuing to introduce new products and expand to new markets.

Located in Blairsville, Pennsylvania, we are currently looking for a part-time Customer Service / Sales Administrative Representative. This position is a part-time role working onsite five days a week, 20 to 27 hours per week

CUSTOMER SERVICE SALES RECEPTIONIST

The successful candidate will carry out administrative functions and record keeping for the Customer Service/Sales department. Responsibilities include sales order entry and change processing, preparing packing slips, troubleshooting and resolving customer issues & concerns, coordinating shipment details for deliveries, expediting orders w/ production and arranging shipping department logistics (UPS, LTL Ground & KH Truck). Accounting responsibilities include processing invoices and some inventory cycle count coordination. Additional accountabilities include obtaining credit references, sales tax certificate maintenance, and updating customer sales and repair files. Perform receptionist duties greeting visitors, routing incoming calls and sorting mail. Must interact well with all levels of the organization and general public as well as providing training as needed. Performs all required tasks with attention to quality and accuracy. Maintains compliance with all Company and Quality policies and procedures. Must be able to work overtime as needed.

An Associate and at least three (5) years previous experience in a customer service, sales, accounting or administrative support role preferred. Must demonstrate excellent computer skills with Microsoft Office, freight shipment software and accounting system software. Excellent communication and telephone skills required. Must be able to handle multiple tasks in a busy environment. Works closely with production, engineering, sales and shipping/receiving personnel. Must be highly motivated and work well individually, or as part of a team.
