Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Server Food Expeditor to join our vibrant hospitality team. In this energetic role, you will act as a vital communication link between the kitchen and front-of-house staff, ensuring that food is prepared, plated, and delivered with precision and timeliness. Your enthusiasm and organizational skills will help create an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Responsibilities

Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure food orders are prepared accurately and efficiently according to specifications.
Expedite food orders by assembling dishes, checking presentation standards, and confirming order completeness before delivery.
Communicate clearly with servers to relay order updates, special requests, or modifications promptly.
Monitor the timing of dishes leaving the kitchen to maintain optimal freshness and presentation.
Assist with food handling, plating, and quality control to uphold safety standards and guest satisfaction.
Support food safety protocols by adhering to proper sanitation and storage procedures.
Collaborate with kitchen personnel on menu items, ingredient availability, and special dietary needs.
Effectively set up and tear down buffets for events.
Able to carry large trays.

Skills

Proven experience in food service, restaurant operations, or hospitality environments.
Strong communication skills to liaise effectively between kitchen staff and servers.
Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent organizational skills to prioritize tasks during busy service times.
Experience with banquet service, bussing, or culinary roles enhances your suitability for this position.
Basic numeracy skills for handling order quantities and timing coordination.
