Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook/Dishwasher to join our culinary team. This position plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen by preparing high-quality meals, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting the overall food service process. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, a strong work ethic, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Assist with meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and utensils.
Follow food safety guidelines to ensure all food is handled properly and safely.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Participate in menu planning and contribute ideas for new dishes or improvements.
Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and maintained properly.
Assist in catering events as needed, providing excellent food service to guests.

Experience

Previous experience in a dietary department or as a dietary aide is preferred.
Familiarity with menu planning, food preparation, and cooking techniques is essential.
Experience in food service or the restaurant industry is highly desirable.
Strong knife skills and knowledge of food handling practices are required.
Culinary experience or training is a plus but not mandatory.
