Welder (MIG/TIG) – All Shifts Available
JWF Industries is seeking MIG Welders, TIG Welders, Production Welders, and Manufacturing Welders to join our growing team. Successful candidates will perform welding operations in a manufacturing environment utilizing established welding procedures to fabricate steel and aluminum weldments and sub-assemblies.
This position requires the ability to fit and weld components using jigs, fixtures, blueprints, and weld symbols while maintaining quality, safety, and production standards.
Candidates with experience in MIG (GMAW), TIG (GTAW), FCAW, aluminum welding, steel fabrication, and manufacturing welding are encouraged to apply.
All experience levels will be considered.

Essential Duties
- Perform MIG, TIG, and/or FCAW welding on steel and aluminum components.
- Layout, fit, fabricate, and weld medium to large weldments and sub-assemblies.
- Work with production jigs and fixtures to meet manufacturing requirements.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, weld symbols, and specifications.
- Set up and adjust welding equipment according to welding procedures and print requirements.
- Perform welding in multiple positions, including:
- Flat
- Horizontal
- Vertical
- Overhead
- Build weldments according to prints and customer specifications.
- Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and conformance to standards.
- Follow all safety procedures and manufacturing requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Education Level
Formal education/training in welding needed
Experience
- Successful candidates will be certified through JWF Industries.
- All experience levels are encouraged to apply.
- Experience in a manufacturing, fabrication, or production welding environment is preferred.
- Experience with MIG Welding (GMAW), TIG Welding (GTAW), FCAW, aluminum welding, and steel fabrication is highly desired.
- Must be able to interpret blueprints & weld symbols, and fit/weld according to print (including the ability to build weldments from prints).
- Ability to fit and weld according to print specifications, including building weldments from drawings.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of the job, the employee is required to have the ability to concentrate and perform responsibilities by maintaining a constant state of focus and mental alertness. While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to stand, use hands (including gripping & grasping) and reach with arms. The employee is frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and talk or hear. The employee will frequently walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. Specific vision requirements such as color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment
The employee is regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles. There is frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts with occasional exposure to wet and/ or humid conditions and extreme cold or heat. The employee is at risk of electrical shock and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
