Full Job Description

Job Summary

Protech Staffing, located in Bolingbrook, is seeking an experienced, driven Senior Recruiter to join our team. This role is ideal for a recruiting professional who thrives in a fast-paced staffing environment, knows how to build strong candidate pipelines, and takes ownership of the recruiting process from initial sourcing through placement.

The Senior Recruiter will partner closely with clients to understand hiring needs, identify talent, manage candidates throughout the hiring process, and consistently deliver high-quality placements. We are looking for someone who combines strong recruiting fundamentals with urgency, relationship-building skills, and a results-oriented mindset.

What you'll be Doing

Source candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, our database, referrals, networking, and good old-fashioned outreach.
Conduct thorough candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and assessment to identify top talent.
Work with hiring managers (clients) to understand role requirements and facilitate employee orientation and evaluation processes.
Recruit for a variety of open positions based on our clients hiring needs.
Help mentor and support less-experienced recruiters when needed.
Meet recruiting and placement goals while maintaining a high standard for candidate quality.
Manage multiple openings at the same time and know how to prioritize what needs attention.

Skills

3-5+ staffing agency experience is required.
A proven ability to source candidates and successfully fill positions.
Strong interviewing and candidate evaluation skills.
Good communication and follow-up; you do what you say you’re going to do.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail in fast-paced environments.
Someone who is competitive and results-driven without losing sight of the people involved.
Skilled in research methods for sourcing candidates, including cold calling, lead generation techniques, and social media channels for recruitment outreach.
