Full Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry Level Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. This position is ideal for individuals who are eager to learn and grow within the machining industry. As an Entry Level Machinist, you will be responsible for operating various machining equipment, interpreting blueprints, and ensuring precision in the production of parts. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment while contributing to high-quality manufacturing processes. Duties

Operate External Grinding Machines to produce precision parts according to specifications
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand project requirements
Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and bore gauges to ensure accuracy
Perform basic programming tasks under supervision
Assist in the setup of tooling and fixtures for machining operations
Conduct routine maintenance on machines and tools to ensure optimal performance
Collaborate with team members to implement lean manufacturing practices
Participate in quality control checks to maintain high standards of production
Support assembly processes as needed, including the use of hand tools and power tools

Skills

Basic understanding of machining processes and mechanical knowledge
Familiarity with CNC programming, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing), and electrical discharge machining is a plus
Experience with precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines
Knowledge of tooling techniques
Strong basic math skills for measurements and calculations in machining tasks
