REACH, Inc. is seeking an experienced Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) to join our executive leadership team and help shape the future of one of Alaska's leading nonprofit organizations serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

This is far more than a traditional Human Resources leadership role.

As our CAO, you'll lead the organization's people strategy while helping integrate the administrative systems that keep a complex, mission-driven organization running effectively. You'll work alongside executive leaders to strengthen workforce development, organizational effectiveness, budgeting support, cross-department collaboration, and operational excellence.

If you're a strategic HR executive who enjoys building systems, developing leaders, improving organizational performance, and translating complex operational information into practical solutions, we'd love to meet you.

What You'll Do

You'll serve as the executive leader responsible for:

Leading Human Resources strategy and operations
Building and developing a high-performing workforce
Recruiting and retaining exceptional employees
Coaching managers and strengthening leadership throughout the organization
Leading employee relations, performance management, and organizational development
Improving administrative processes across HR, Finance, Billing, Grants, IT, and Operations
Helping department leaders understand budgets, financial reports, and organizational performance
Leading change management initiatives that improve efficiency and accountability
Developing organization-wide training and workforce development programs
Partnering closely with the Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer on strategic initiatives

What We're Looking For

We're looking for an experienced HR executive who brings:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, Healthcare Administration, or related field (Master's preferred)
8+ years of progressively responsible Human Resources leadership experience
3+ years leading HR professionals
Experience in nonprofit, healthcare, Medicaid-funded, government, or other highly regulated environments
Strong knowledge of employment law, employee relations, compensation, benefits, workforce planning, and organizational development
Experience leading organizational change and cross-functional initiatives
SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification preferred

Compensation, Benefits & Relocation

REACH offers a competitive compensation and benefits package, including:

Salary of $115,000–$125,000 annually
34 days of Paid Time Off (PTO) per year
Relocation assistance of up to $10,000–$15,000
