Shift: Days, 5x8hrs
Hours: 40 hrs/wk
Start Date: Oct 5, 2026
Length: 15 weeks

Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN OB Case Manager for an outpatient specialty clinic setting, requiring an active AK RN license and prior OB case management experience.

Details

Ambulatory OB/GYN specialty clinic setting
Provides outpatient case management and nursing care across the continuum of care
Monday through Friday day shift schedule
15-week assignment length
May float to other departments or assignments as needed

Requirements

Active, unrestricted Alaska RN license required at time of submission
Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
OB case management experience required
BLS certification required
Case management certification preferred
Graduate of an accredited nursing program required, Bachelor's degree preferred
High school diploma or equivalent required

Additional Information

Performs comprehensive patient assessments and develops individualized plans of care
Coordinates with providers and interdisciplinary teams to facilitate referrals, follow-up care, and continuity of services
Provides patient and family education related to care, medications, and discharge needs
Documents assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the electronic health record
Advocates for patients and assists them in navigating the healthcare system
Participates in quality and performance improvement activities
Provides guidance and delegation to ancillary staff and supports orientation and mentoring of staff, students, and peers
Must live at least 100+ miles from the facility to be eligible for consideration
Housing and transportation are not provided and are the candidate's responsibility
Start date will be no less than 5 weeks after fingerprint cards are received for processing
