Tax Manager | West Palm Beach | Hybrid | $120,000 to $160,000

I've recruited two people into this firm over the past year.

Both came from larger CPA firms. Both wanted a better balance. Both have told me they've found exactly what they were hoping for.

They enjoy coming to work, genuinely like the people around them, and for the first time in years, don't feel like work runs their life.

When I asked one of the Partners what makes the firm different, he didn't talk about revenue, ambitious growth plans or becoming the biggest firm in Florida.

After spending time getting to know the business, it was obvious that wasn't just a nice line. It's how they lead the firm.

Established in the 1980s, this West Palm Beach CPA firm has built an exceptional reputation across South Florida. They work with complex clients and challenging tax matters you'd normally associate with a much larger firm, but without the bureaucracy, long hours or endless internal politics.

People don't leave unless life takes them somewhere else.

The firm continues to grow because referrals keep coming in and they're now turning work away.

As a Tax Manager, you'll lead client relationships, review returns, mentor junior staff, and work closely with the Partners on planning and advisory projects. You'll have the autonomy to manage your own portfolio while playing an important role in the continued growth of the firm.

Busy season doesn't begin until March and generally peaks at around 50 to 55 hours for a few weeks. Hybrid working is available from day one, with the opportunity to become fully remote once you've established yourself.

What they're looking for

5+ years of recent Public Accounting tax experience
Experience reviewing Forms 990, 1040, 1041 and 1065
Strong client relationship management skills
Form 990 experience is essential
CPA preferred
