Position:

CONTRACTS/GRANTS COORDINATOR

Salary:

$61,526 to $103,841 Annually. Pay Grade 32.

Hours:

8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., Monday – Friday, may be required to work flex hours to accommodate client/program needs.

Other:

Valid Florida Driver’s License and PBC Risk Management Department driving history approval prior to appointment.

Must pass a Level 2 background check prior to appointment.

Initiates, coordinates, and administers the Department Agenda Items pertaining to federal, state, and local contracts and grant budgets. Initiates, coordinates, and administers the Division's federal, state, and local Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) processes, contracts, and grant budgets. Monitors Federal and State contracts/grants for compliance with program objectives/policies and contract performance measures; prepares statistical/financial reports and Board Agenda Items. Tracks grant expenditures; may assist with auditing financial activities; contract modifications; performs desk audits and contract amendments. Coordinates dissemination of information with Palm Beach County agencies as well as state, nonprofit agencies, and faith-based organizations. Liaises with all contracted partners and stakeholders; attends committee and sub-committee meetings. Provides technical assistance to staff and other partner agencies as related to Board Agenda Items. Tracks all contracts and grants for renewals. Maintains and updates Consolidated Funding Report (CFR) and monitoring schedule spreadsheets in SharePoint.

QUALIFICATIONS

This position requires qualified applicants to possess one of the following:

A Bachelor’s Degree in Public/Business Administration, Health/Social Services, or related field; minimum of two (2) years of experience in a staff or administrative capacity initiating/managing/coordinating contracts, grants/leases,

An unrelated Bachelor’s Degree; minimum of three (3) years of experience in a staff or administrative capacity initiating/managing/coordinating contracts, grants/leases,

An Associate’s Degree in Public/Business Administration, Health/Social Services, or related field; minimum of four (4) years of experience in a staff or administrative capacity initiating/managing/coordinating contracts, grants/leases,

An unrelated Associate’s Degree; minimum of five (5) years of experience in a staff or administrative capacity initiating/managing/coordinating contracts, grants/leases,

Graduation from high school or an equivalent recognized certification; minimum of six (6) years of experience in a staff or administrative capacity initiating/managing/coordinating contracts, grants/leases.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred qualifications include:

Experience administering/monitoring federal/local contracts,
Experience with fiscal and/or programmatic monitoring,
Experience with financial management/database reporting systems (e.g., Advantage Financial, Crystal) (must specify on application), and
Bi/trilingual (English/Spanish/Creole).
