Overview
Join our dynamic culinary team as a Dumpling Maker / Xiao Long Bao Specialist, where your craftsmanship and passion for authentic Asian cuisine will shine! In this role, you will be at the forefront of creating delicious, handcrafted dumplings and Xiao Long Bao (soup dumplings) that delight customers and showcase traditional techniques. Your expertise will contribute to a vibrant kitchen environment focused on quality, precision, and culinary excellence. This is an exciting opportunity for someone eager to master the art of dumpling fabrication while working in a fast-paced, energetic setting that celebrates cultural cuisine.

Responsibilities

Prepare and assemble dumpling and Xiao Long Bao dough using precise measurements and techniques.
Fill, fold, and shape dumplings with consistent quality and attention to detail.
Ensure all products meet safety standards, hygiene protocols, and presentation guidelines.
Operate various kitchen tools including rolling pins, sewing machines for fabricating special packaging or accessories, and hand tools for delicate assembly.
Maintain cleanliness of workstations and equipment throughout shifts to uphold food safety standards.
Collaborate with team members to optimize production flow and meet daily demand targets.
Assist in developing new recipes or variations to enhance menu offerings based on customer feedback and culinary trends.

Requirements

Proven experience in food preparation, especially in Asian cuisine or dumpling making preferred.
Mechanical knowledge of kitchen equipment such as mixers, steamers, and refrigeration units.
Familiarity with power tools or woodworking tools is a plus for custom equipment maintenance or setup.
Ability to handle heavy lifting when moving ingredients or equipment safely.
Strong hand-eye coordination and precision in working with small components like dough wrappers or filling portions.
