Life Insurance BrokerPosition Overview

We are seeking a motivated, professional, and client-focused Life Insurance Broker to join our team. The ideal candidate will help individuals, families, and business owners identify their insurance needs and recommend life insurance solutions that provide financial protection and long-term security.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, educating clients, generating new business, and creating personalized insurance strategies. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing leads, conducting client consultations, presenting insurance options, and guiding clients through the application and policy-issuance process.

Key Responsibilities

Consult with prospective and existing clients to understand their financial protection and life insurance needs.
Educate clients on different life insurance products, including term, whole life, universal life, and other applicable solutions.
Analyze client needs, financial goals, and existing coverage to recommend appropriate insurance solutions.
Generate new business through referrals, networking, prospecting, marketing, and company-provided leads.
Conduct phone, virtual, and in-person client appointments.
Prepare and present insurance quotes and personalized coverage recommendations.
Complete applications accurately and assist clients throughout the underwriting and approval process.
Maintain consistent follow-up with prospects and clients to build long-term relationships.
Develop and maintain a strong book of business.
Stay current on insurance products, underwriting guidelines, industry trends, and applicable regulations.
Maintain accurate client records and comply with all company and regulatory requirements.
Provide ongoing service to existing policyholders and identify opportunities for additional coverage when appropriate.
Meet or exceed established sales, activity, and production goals.

Qualifications

Active life insurance license in the applicable state(s), or willingness and ability to obtain one.
Previous experience in insurance, financial services, sales, or a related field preferred.
Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build trust and establish strong relationships with clients.
Self-motivated and comfortable working independently.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Professional demeanor and commitment to ethical sales practices.
Ability to explain complex insurance concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
Comfortable using CRM systems, video conferencing, email, and other sales technology.

Preferred Qualifications

Existing client or referral network.
Previous life insurance or financial services sales experience.
Experience with consultative or needs-based selling.
Familiarity with multiple life insurance carriers and product types.
Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding sales goals.

Compensation

Competitive commission-based compensation structure.
