Archetype Insurance Agency is looking to partner with motivated insurance agents and sales professionals who want to build a long-term business in Medicare, health insurance, life insurance, and related coverage.
This is not a traditional W2 employee position.It is best suited for someone who is comfortable working in an independent, performance-based sales environment while receiving training, systems, support, and guidance from an experienced local agency.
We work with clients throughout Hawaii and other licensed markets, helping them understand their Medicare options, compare coverage, enroll in suitable plans, and receive ongoing service after the sale. Our goal is to build a team of ethical, coachable, and client-focused agents who want to grow with a professional agency structure behind them.

What You’ll Do
In this role, you will help individuals and families understand their insurance options and choose coverage that fits their needs, budget, doctors, prescriptions, and long-term goals.
Responsibilities may include:
- Speaking with prospective clients by phone, video, or in person
- Explaining Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, Part D, life insurance, and related coverage in simple terms
- Conducting needs-based conversations to understand each client’s situation
- Comparing plan options and helping clients make informed decisions
- Guiding clients through compliant enrollment steps
- Maintaining accurate notes and records in agency systems
- Following up with prospects, clients, referrals, and renewal opportunities
- Participating in training, coaching, and team meetings
- Building trusted long-term client relationships
- Staying current on carrier, product, compliance, and market changes
Who We’re Looking For

- Willing to study products, regulations, and market changes consistently
- Comfortable working with seniors and explaining information clearly
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication and basic computer skills
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Willingness to obtain or maintain a Life & Health insurance license
- Willingness to participate in local team meetings, trainings, or events as needed
- Hawaii-based candidates preferred, though remote candidates may be considered depending on licensing, experience, and fit
Preferred Experience
- Insurance sales experience
- Medicare sales experience
- Life insurance, annuity, or financial services experience
- Sales, retail sales, customer service, appointment setting, or telemarketing experience
- Experience working with seniors or local Hawaii communities
- Bilingual ability, especially in languages commonly spoken in Hawaii
Important Compensation Note
This is an independent, commission-based opportunity. There is no hourly wage or salary. Income depends on your licensing, activity level, production, client retention, and ability to follow through consistently.
