Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front Desk Lead to oversee the daily operations of our front desk team at our hospitality establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, exceptional customer service abilities, and a passion for providing outstanding guest experiences. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth front desk operations, managing guest relations, and maintaining high standards of service.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate the activities of front desk staff to ensure efficient operations.
Manage guest check-in and check-out processes, ensuring a seamless experience for all guests.
Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism and care.
Oversee the night audit process to ensure accurate financial reporting and reconciliation.
Maintain knowledge of hotel services, local attractions, and events to provide guests with relevant information.
Train and mentor front desk staff on customer service best practices, phone etiquette, and multi-line phone systems.
Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive approach to guest services.
Monitor front desk inventory, including supplies and equipment, ensuring all are well-stocked.

Experience

Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel management is essential.
Previous experience in a front desk or guest services role within a hotel or resort setting is preferred.
Bilingual or multilingual skills are highly desirable to cater to diverse guests.
Strong understanding of customer service principles and practices within the hospitality industry.
Familiarity with night audit procedures is a plus.
Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette and guest relations.
