Job Summary

Join our dynamic culinary team as an Assistant Kitchen Manager, where your passion for food and leadership will shine! In this energetic role, you will support the kitchen operations, oversee food preparation, and ensure a seamless dining experience for our guests. Your expertise in managing kitchen staff, maintaining food safety standards, and controlling inventory will drive the success of our fast-paced environment. Duties

Assist in supervising daily kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food production and presentation
Support staff training and development to uphold service excellence and culinary standards
Oversee food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, stock rotation, and minimizing waste
Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate cash handling and order processing
Coordinate shift management to ensure smooth service flow during busy hours
Collaborate with management on budgeting, profit and loss analysis, and cost control initiatives

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management within quick service or fast food restaurants
Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; adept at cash handling and transaction accuracy
Excellent team management skills with experience in staff training, supervising, interviewing, and leadership roles
Familiarity with food safety standards, food industry regulations, and hospitality management practices
Ability to perform basic math for inventory calculations, budgeting, and financial analysis
Effective communication skills for managerial tasks such as staff coordination and customer service excellence
Experience in casual dining or fine dining environments; banquet or catering experience is a plus
Demonstrated ability to manage hospitality teams with a focus on food quality, safety, and customer satisfaction
