Harloff Manufacturing Company LLC is a leading manufacturer of metal roll formed, stamped, and assembled components, primarily serving the utility-scale solar energy sector. Headquartered in Paw Paw, MI, we operate satellite and distribution facilities in Lawton and Parchment, MI. Since relocating to Michigan in 2015, we have grown 15x over the past four years — and we’re continuing to expand rapidly as we help re-power the planet with clean energy solutions.

We are seeking a motivated person in the Tool and Die area to help achieve our rapidly increasing production requirements!

Applicants must be a team player and self starter capable of making an immediate positive impact to our Stamping Press reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

Support plant to achieve Key Performance Indicators of Safety, Quality, Delivery and Productivity
Studies specifications such as blueprints, sketches and models
Support the continuous improvement culture as a key member of the countermeasure implementation team.
Work with the production, engineering and maintenance teams to ensure the highest equipment reliability.
Determine specifications for inspection of work, using a full range of precision measuring and gauging tools to perform inspection before, during and after machining.
Communicate repair methodology, replacement part requirements, and troubleshooting findings to tool room management in a timely manner.
Recommends measures to improve employee safety, production methods, equipment reliability, and quality of product.
Consistently adhere to, and support, policies and procedures, including OSHA safety regulations; assist in investigating and documenting potential infractions and timely implementation of approved countermeasures.
Consistently exhibit appropriate attendance habits, working the hours necessary to perform the job.
Organize and maintain efficiency of their personal work area.
Give and accept instructions and duties in a positive manner, treating all co-workers with dignity and respect.

Requirements:

Demonstrated working knowledge of stamping presses, roll formers, coil feed systems, servo feeders/straighteners, and ancillary production equipment
Urgency
Self motivated
Maintenance mastery

Preferred Skills:

Previous stamping press commissioning and rebuilding experience
Mechanical background

Work Hours:

40 - 65 hours/week
Plant runs 24 hours - 7 days
Nights and weekend availability required (on call)
