Overview
Step into the dynamic role of General Manager at a leading quick service restaurant, where you will oversee daily operations, drive exceptional customer experiences, and lead a passionate team to success. This position offers an exciting opportunity to manage all aspects of restaurant management, from food quality and safety to staff development and financial performance. Your energetic leadership will ensure the restaurant runs smoothly, efficiently, and profitably while maintaining a lively and welcoming environment for customers and staff alike.

Duties

Lead and motivate a diverse team to deliver outstanding customer service, ensuring every guest leaves satisfied.
Oversee food preparation, cooking processes, and food safety standards to maintain high-quality offerings aligned with brand guidelines.
Manage inventory control, including ordering, stock rotation, and waste reduction to optimize profitability.
Supervise daily shift operations, including POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, cash handling procedures, and ensuring accurate transaction processing.
Implement staff training programs focused on food handling, safety protocols, customer service excellence, and operational procedures.
Conduct staff hiring, interviewing, performance evaluations, and ongoing development initiatives to build a strong team.
Ensure compliance with health regulations, food safety standards, and sanitation practices across all restaurant areas.
Manage budgeting activities, including labor costs, food costs, and operational expenses to meet financial targets.
Coordinate kitchen management tasks such as food production oversight and culinary quality assurance.
Foster a positive hospitality environment by promoting teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Skills

Extensive experience in food service management within quick service or fast food restaurants; casual dining or hotel experience is a plus.
Strong supervisory skills with proven ability in team management, training & development, and leadership roles such as assistant manager experience.
Proficiency in POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient transaction processing.
Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking processes, and kitchen management including food safety practices.
Expertise in inventory control, food handling procedures, budgeting strategies, and cost management.
Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable dining experiences.
Ability to manage shift operations effectively while supervising staff performance and ensuring high standards of cleanliness and safety.
Experience in hospitality management environments such as casual dining or catering services enhances your candidacy.
Strong communication skills for interviewing candidates and conducting staff training sessions.
