Clinic Operations Coordinator
Become the Future Right Hand to the Practice Owner/Doctor
One quick note: Attention to detail is an important part of this role, so I've intentionally included the application instructions at the end of this posting. If this opportunity resonates with you, please read the entire posting before applying.
Dear Future Right Hand,
I don't know your name yet.
But I have a feeling you're probably not looking for just another job.
You're looking for meaningful work. The kind of work that matters. Work where you can go home at the end of the day knowing someone's life is genuinely better because you showed up as part of a mission that truly matters.
Maybe you're the person your family depends on. The one who naturally remembers birthdays, notices when someone seems "off," catches the typo everyone else missed, or straightens the picture on the wall because you noticed it was crooked.
Maybe you're the person who quietly solves problems before anyone even realizes they exist.
Maybe you're the one who gets genuine joy from making someone else's day easier. You probably don't need recognition to do excellent work. But you do need to believe what you're giving your life to matters.
If you're reading this thinking, "That's me..." then keep reading.
Maybe you are exactly who I've been praying for.
Why This Role Exists
Fifteen years ago, I started New Hope Health because I became convinced that there was too much needless suffering in the world. Too many people were sick from preventable conditions that could be easily addressed with reducing stress, improving diet, upgrading a few lifestyle points and understanding the value they have.
I believed there had to be a better way.
That conviction has only grown stronger over the years.
People are not their diagnosis or their symptoms. To me, health has never been about treating one symptom or chasing one lab value. It's about seeing the whole person. Because when you help someone address the root causes of why they're struggling—not just the symptoms—real transformation becomes possible.
At New Hope Health, we don't simply fill a schedule. We help facilitate transformation.
Many of our clients have spent years—sometimes decades—searching for answers before they ever walk through our doors. Every phone call, every email, every greeting, and every detail helps determine whether someone feels seen, valued, safe, and hopeful from the very first interaction.
That's why this role matters.
I'm not hiring someone to answer phones. I'm looking for someone who will eventually become my trusted right hand and understands that every task—whether it's answering the phone, replying to an email, organizing a schedule, or greeting someone at the front desk—is really about caring for people. Someone who helps protect my time, loves our clients, and helps carry this mission forward…and develops the skills to use things like, “answering the phone” as a means of touching someone’s heart and inspiring them to keep progressing!
One of the greatest gifts you can give me is protecting my time so I can focus on being the doctor, leading our team, and helping people heal. Every hour you save me becomes another opportunity to serve someone who needs us.
If that kind of work energizes you, I think you will love this role.
Why This Position Matters So Much
I live in Arizona while my clinic is in Portage, Michigan. About one week each month, I travel to Michigan to see clients in person. The rest of the month, I lead the clinic remotely.
Because of that, this position is unlike a typical administrative role.
I'm looking for someone I can genuinely trust—not because I expect perfection, but because I want to know that when I'm not physically in the office, our clients are still being cared for with excellence, warmth, and attention to detail.
Initially you'll focus on client care and clinic operations. As trust grows, so will your responsibilities.
One of my greatest hopes is that, over time, I'll be able to hand you responsibilities that I once believed only I could do. That's the kind of trust and leadership I'm building to develop and grow with this role.
The Person Who Thrives Here
The person who thrives here is naturally curious, emotionally intelligent, detail-oriented, dependable, resourceful, and proactive.
I don't expect you to walk in knowing everything. In fact, I'd rather hire someone who is humble, curious, and eager to learn than someone who believes they already know it all.
The person who thrives here notices the little things.
They remember names.
They can tell when someone needs encouragement before that person ever asks for it.
They ask thoughtful questions because they genuinely want to understand.
They take ownership instead of waiting to be told what to do.
They don't panic when something goes wrong.
They quietly start looking for solutions.
They treat the business as though it were their own.
They naturally look for ways to save time, money, and energy without sacrificing quality or the way people feel.
This isn’t just what they do. It’s who they are.
You’ll know you’re thriving here when…
You know you've had a great day because...
- A client leaves feeling seen, encouraged, and genuinely cared for.
- The clinic runs smoothly because you anticipated needs before they became problems.
- I've been able to spend more time doing what only I can do because you've protected my time so well.
- You've found a better way to do something—not because anyone asked you to, but because excellence matters to you.
- You leave work tired some days...but deeply fulfilled because you know you were part of something that truly mattered.
You won't be expected to know everything.
You will be expected to care deeply.
Our Culture
If you spend enough time around New Hope Health, you'll probably notice a few things.
We really know our clients and treat them life family.
Details matter. They communicate love.
Questions are welcomed.
Mistakes aren't hidden—they're owned and learned from.
We celebrate growth more than perfection.
We genuinely care about one another.
We laugh.
We work hard.
People feel safe here.
We take our mission seriously – we live it.
And perhaps most importantly...
We believe we can't effectively care for others if we aren't also caring for ourselves.
The right person will probably read this posting and feel more excited with every line.
Alignment Matters
Our practice is deeply rooted in holistic health and whole-food, plant-based nutrition. You don't need to have perfect health or know everything—I can teach you—but I'm looking for someone who is genuinely aligned with this philosophy and eager to continue learning to improve their own life as well as to help others.
This May Not Be the Right Fit If...
One of my goals throughout this process is to help both of us determine whether this is the right fit.
If you're reading this and realize this isn't your kind of role, that's not a failure. In fact, I'd consider that a success. I'd much rather discover that now than after either of us has invested weeks in interviews and training.
With that in mind, this probably isn’t the right place for you if…
· You're looking for a paycheck more than a purpose.
· You’d rather be directed instead of taking initiative.
· You'd rather protect your ego than continue learning.
· You're looking for a short-term steppingstone rather than a place to plant roots.
· Holistic health, nutrition and personal growth simply don’t interest you.
· You find people draining more often than energizing.
· You’re happiest doing exactly what’s expected rather than looking for ways to make things even better.
· You need a job immediately. This hiring process is intentionally different and may take 3–6 weeks.
And that's okay.
Not every great person belongs in every great organization.
I'm simply looking for the person who reads this posting and quietly thinks,
'I think I've found my home away from home.’
A Different Hiring Process (On Purpose)
You'll probably notice that my hiring process is a little different than most.
That's intentional.
This position is too important—for both of us—to rush.
Rather than trying to fill an opening quickly, my desire is to build a relationship that lasts for years.
That's why you'll notice several steps throughout the interview process.
Each one is designed to help us genuinely get to know one another before either of us makes a commitment.
Although New Hope Health is a special place and this role is an incredible gift for the right person, my goal isn't to convince you to join my team.
My goal is to use the process to lead me to the right person for a perfect win-win.
Before you Apply…
I'm not looking for someone who simply needs a job.
I'm looking for someone who is determined to find a place to grow, contribute and still be proud to call it home five years from now.
If you've made it this far...
Thank you.
Whether we ultimately end up working together or not, you've invested a significant amount of time getting to know me, my mission, and this opportunity.
I don't take that lightly.
One thing I've learned over the years is that the best long-term relationships—whether in business or in life—begin with honesty.
So here's mine.
I don't expect perfection.
I never will.
I do hope you'll bring curiosity.
Ownership.
Humility.
Kindness.
A willingness to grow.
And a genuine love for people.
If you do...
I promise to invest in you.
To challenge you.
To cheer for you.
And to do everything I can to help you become the best version of yourself—not just as a team member, but as a person.
If you're reading this and something inside keeps saying,
"This feels different..."
I'd love to meet you.
Maybe you're exactly who I've been praying for.
If you're still interested, submit your resume and then leave me a brief voicemail at:

P.S. No matter how this process ends, my hope is that you'll walk away feeling encouraged, respected, and genuinely grateful that our paths crossed. That's important to me.
