Full Job Description

The primary purpose of this important position is to assist residents with receiving and taking their medications properly as prescribed by their physician. Med Techs should be patient, flexible, detailed oriented and gentle. As Med Tech you are the shift lead, and it is the responsibility of the Med Tech to make sure the resident care aides are doing their jobs and completing their tasks as assigned. You will be communicating with families, visiting nurses and physicians on a daily basis.
Employees doing this job, will be required to be on their feet much of their shift, bending, stopping, turning and stretching. They may need to perform some heavy lifting. Assistive devices will be available as needed.
