Lending Services Specialist

A locally owned and operated bank group in the growing Flathead Valley is hiring a Lending Services Specialist. This Montana bank has personalized service where customers can get to know their banker. They are committed to creating an enjoyable and fulfilling work environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working behind the scenes to ensure accuracy, maintain compliance, and provide exceptional service to both customers and internal teams. The Lending Services Specialist plays a key role in keeping loan operations running smoothly while contributing to a collaborative, customer-focused banking environment.

Essential Functions and Duties:

Process and service consumer, commercial, and real estate loans, including escrow payments, payoffs, loan maintenance, and documentation
Disburse construction loan draws, commercial line advances, SBA payments, and process participation agreements
Perform quality control reviews, note audits, lien perfection, and ensure accurate loan records and regulatory compliance
Respond to customer inquiries while delivering exceptional service and promoting banking products and services
Provide administrative support to the Loan Department, including scanning documents, preparing correspondence, and assisting Loan Processors
Complete required compliance training and represent the bank through community and organizational events

Qualifications:

Prior experience in loan support or loan processing preferred
Prior Banking experience helpful
Minimum of one year of clerical/administrative experience
Must be Bondable
Proficiency with Computers, Office Word and Excel
Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
