Procurement Specialist

An innovative manufacturing company is seeking a motivated professional to join its growing team in Kalispell. This role is responsible for maintaining strong procurement processes through structure, discipline, and consistent standards while collaborating closely with engineering, production, and suppliers. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with strong communication skills, a solid understanding of purchasing principles, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment where accuracy and timely execution are essential.

Essential Functions and Duties:

Research, source, and purchase materials and parts needed for production
Create and manage purchase orders, quotes, and supplier communications
Maintain accurate purchasing records, pricing, and delivery information in company systems
Build relationships with vendors and resolve ordering or delivery issues
Track shipments, expedite urgent orders, and support production timelines
Assist with inventory, shipping, purchasing processes, and other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

1 to 3 years of purchasing, procurement, or supply chain experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and support process improvements
Shipping or logistics experience is a plus
Proficient with computers and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
