Job description:

Job Title: Staff Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our team as a Staff Accountant. The successful candidate will support the accounting team by maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and assisting with a variety of accounting and administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately recording and maintaining all financial transactions into accounting systems
Ensure data integrity and compliance with accounting standards
Reconciling bank statements, general ledger accounts, and other financial records.
Assist other team members with bookkeeping and the reconciliation of accounts
Process invoices, payments, and other financial transactions
Support the preparation of financial statements and reports
Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records
Involvement in payroll reconciliations and compliance
Provide administrative support to the accounting team as needed

Qualifications & Skills:

Proficiency with accounting software and spreadsheet applications (e.g., Excel)
Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and math skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Strong organizational and communication skills
