Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented commercial cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role is crucial in upholding the standards of hygiene and appearance in both commercial and residential settings.

Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors.
Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas by restocking supplies and sanitizing surfaces.
Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, waxing, and polishing to ensure floors are well-maintained.
Handle industrial cleaning tasks as needed, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
Assist with facilities maintenance duties including minor repairs and upkeep of equipment.
Respond promptly to cleaning requests or emergencies to maintain a safe environment.
Collaborate with other staff members to ensure all areas are clean and well-presented.
Respond to prompt schedule changes and take initiative when new jobs arise.

Skills

Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles is preferred.
Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and equipment operation.
Familiarity with floor care practices including buffing and maintenance.
Ability to perform residential painting tasks when required.
Experience in industrial cleaning environments is a plus.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality work standards.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
