Grace is proud to be a two-campus congregation:

Our Ridgeview campus is home to the majority of our worship gatherings, main offices, Kids Place at Grace preschool, and many other ministries for persons of all ages. This is what you might think of a traditional “church” campus, although we believe it’s just one part of what our ministry has to offer the community. Our contemporary congregation Common Grace, also meets in the Grace Gathering Room at the Ridgeview building.
Our campus in downtown Olathe hosts our hands-on mission and educational outreach programs with and for southern Johnson County, including community dinners, a clothing closet, ELL classes, and the Boys & Girls Club. The love that we receive from God and one another at our worship campuses informs and inspires our work at the Center of Grace, and we are so pleased and proud of the amazing things that happen here every day.

Job Description

The Camera Operator position at Grace United Methodist Church is an entry level position. This job includes the operation of a camera for our Sunday morning live stream. Camera operators are expected to:

Work with directors to determine all aspects of shots
Provide practical and creative input to scene planning
Prepare cameras and test angles or camera movements
Collaborate with director and sound staff to produce the best final effect
Resolve technical or practical issues

The hours of this position are Sunday mornings, from 8:40am-10:20am. The pay for each shift is $25, with 1-5 shifts available each month. Non-paid training can be provided.

Requirements:

Attention to detail
Ability to remain focused for the duration of the service
Able to reliably show up for the dates you sign up for
Previous experience with camera operation is preferred but not required

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $25.00 per day
