Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cook/Dishwasher to join our culinary team. This role is essential in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently while providing high-quality meals to our guests. Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and menu plans.
Assist in menu planning and food preparation, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, pots, and pans.
Adhere to food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques at all times.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service.
Perform routine kitchen maintenance tasks such as cleaning equipment and work surfaces.
Assist with catering events as needed, providing exceptional food service to guests.
Utilize knife skills effectively for meal preparation while ensuring safety protocols are followed.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a dietary department or as a dietary aide is preferred.
Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food service within the culinary industry.
Familiarity with menu planning and catering services is a plus.
Excellent knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is highly desirable.
Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
