Job Description
Position: Family Care Specialist
The position is for an Independent Contractor willing to teach individuals parenting skills and/or supervise children visits with families. This individual is to assist the client with obtaining resources and goals completion. This also requires transporting children to/from visits. A person with excellent communication skills, writing skills, and time management skills is essential. The person is responsible for preparing daily notes and monthly reports about the observed visits. This individual is aware and knowledgeable of cultural, ethnicity, economic and sexual gender differences. This person is self-motivated and takes the initiative. All documentation is submitted electronically.

Required:

Strong interpersonal organizational skills

Must have reliable internet, laptop or desktop, with basic computer skills knowledge
Grammatical, clear, concise report writing skills

Qualifications:

High school diploma
Adequate transportation
Current auto insurance
Valid driver license
21 years of age
Background approval

Three professional recommendations

Preferred:

Bachelor's degree – Human Services (Social Work, Criminal Justice, Education, Counseling, Psychology, Sociology, etc.)

Pay Rate:

$15-$17 per unit/hour

Flexible Schedule:
Sunday – Saturday, Evenings and Weekends
No Benefits

This is a field position.
