Job Description:

Security Supervisor Covers posts (e.g., customer counter, employee, vehicle entrances, guard houses, gates, construction gates, parking lot, perimeter, etc.)
Screens employees (in/out) and personal baggage at pedestrian and vehicle entrances
Verifies identity badges of personnel for clearance, screen vehicles
Manages temporary badge process
Conducts roving patrols, on foot or in vehicle around perimeter fences, gates, buildings, warehouses, storage areas,
Identifies fire hazards, unauthorized activity malfunctioning utility, hazardous conditions
Performs additional duties related to security of premises as required
May be required to perform emergency duties which require physical exertion such as: standing or walking for an entire shift, climbing stairs, lifting, carrying up to 50lbs. and running.
Supervise and direct Level 1, Level 2, and Level 2C officers
Manage daily shift operations, staffing coverage, and post assignments
Ensure compliance with client policies, post orders, and company SOPs
Serve as the primary escalation point for incidents, emergencies, and operational issues
Lead incident response, reporting, and documentation
Conduct roll calls, briefings, and shift transitions
Monitor officer performance and ensure proper execution of duties
Liaise with client representatives, GSOC, and site leadership
Ensure all reports, logs, and audits are completed accurately and on time
Support training, coaching, and accountability of personnel
Assign posts, shifts, and duties, and adjust staffing based on operational needs
Provide real-time direction and oversight during shift operations
Document performance issues and policy violations and provide corrective feedback
Recommend disciplinary action and support performance management processes
Evaluate officer performance and identify training or development needs
Exercise independent judgment in responding to incidents, emergencies, and staffing challenges
Determine appropriate response actions and escalation protocols
Provide input on hiring, promotions, retention, and terminations where applicable

Qualifications:

A Current guard card license as required by State or local law.

Must pass a 5-panel drug test prior to placement.

Must pass a criminal history check (based on fingerprints where permitted by law) independent of state professional certification requirements.

Must undergo employment verification check back to age 18.

Must undergo motor vehicle record checks.

Must be 21 years or older.

May be required to perform emergency duties which require physical exertion such as: standing or walking for an entire shift, climbing stairs, lifting, carrying objects up to 75 lbs., and running.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent; possession of a college degree is highly desirable.

Speak, read, and write English.

All assigned personnel should be of high integrity and possess exemplary security skills and judgment.

Assigned personnel should possess above average computer skills and must hold all necessary and required licenses, permits and certifications required by the States and/or Countries of assignment to perform security officer duties.

Work Environment and Schedule

Job operates in client sites which could be indoors or outdoors.
Position requires prolonged standing and walking, in the performance of daily security activities.
Open availability Nights, Weekends, Holidays and overtime as directed(overtime occurs).
Work various shifts and Holidays as assigned.
