Summary

Responsibilities
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to the needs of preschool-aged children.
Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive learning environment.
Assess and monitor student progress through standardized testing and ongoing evaluations.
Collaborate with parents and staff to support each child's individual growth and development.
Incorporate physical education activities into the curriculum to promote health and wellness.
Provide support for children with special needs, ensuring an inclusive classroom experience.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Education or related field preferred.
Experience in early childhood education or daycare settings is highly desirable.
Strong classroom management skills with the ability to engage young learners effectively.
Knowledge of special education practices is a plus.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement creative curriculum plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional learning.
- Manage classroom environments to promote positive behavior management and effective classroom management strategies.
- Foster strong communication with parents to share progress, address concerns, and build collaborative relationships.
- Support children’s development through individualized child development instruction and early intervention techniques when needed.
- Maintain compliance with mandated reporting laws and ensure child welfare at all times.
- Utilize classroom experience to facilitate activities that support childhood development milestones across various age groups including toddlers and preschoolers.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan lessons, assess student progress through standardized testing when appropriate, and adapt teaching strategies for diverse learners.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children in early childhood education settings such as daycare, preschool, or private schools.
- Strong knowledge of curriculum development, classroom management, behavior management, and child welfare practices.
- Demonstrated experience in teaching physical education, literacy education, math, or tutoring young children.
- Familiarity with childhood development principles, mandated reporting laws, first aid and CPR certification.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members.
- Ability to plan lessons that incorporate child-centered activities while adhering to educational standards.
- Experience working with children who have special needs or require early intervention services is a plus.
